The Red Lion serves up home made traditional pub food, freshly prepared at great prices. Packed full of traditional pub classics, come and step back into time in a relaxed setting and enjoy your meal. Please note that Sundays are dedicated to our carvery only, with locally sourced meats. We also have vegetarian options.

We specialise in home made pies and suet puddings, including Steak & Ale Steamed Pud, Pork & Black Pudding Pie, as well as Beef & Horseradish Pie.
The locally sourced carvery is served from our Edwardian parlour between 12 noon and 2pm and if possible, telephone ahead on 01205 480395 to ensure availability. Just to confirm we are a good old fashioned pub we only accept cash. carvery is £7.95 for the main course £3.95 for deserts.
The kitchen is open Thursday, Friday & Saturday, as well as Sundays at 12 noon.
