Traditionally Brewed Cyder | Stickford Cyder
Stickford Cyder is truly a farmhouse cyder, made in the old fashioned way using 100% apples unlike most commercial ciders, which have as little as 35% apple juice in them.
All our apples are sourced locally, some from our own trees, most donated from people in and around the village.
Once pressed they are fermented for at least six months in 9 gallon barrels then blended. Each batch usually has its own distinct flavour.
We seldom use any yeast or sugar in the process, relying on those that occur naturally. The brews matures over time, so the character of the cyder changes with the seasons.
We were voted Fenland area CAMRA’s Cider Pub of the Year in 2015, so come round and give them a try!
